Tecnifibre is a fast up-and-coming brand in tennis. They have an ever increasing portfolio of internationally ranked players endorsing their products, including Marcos Baghdatis, Janko Tipsarevic and Gisela Dulko.
They are becoming increasingly well known for their string technologies and produce four ranges of tennis strings; Polyester, Premium, Combo and Playability ranges.
Tecnifibre's polyester range is very popular, in particular their Pro RedCode and BlackCode strings. Both are monofilament polyester strings, each with their own different characteristics, however both are very durable and ideal for hard hitters and chronic string breakers. They are also being used increasingly more as the mains in a Hybrid set.
The Combo range features the Multifeel, XR3, Duramix and Promix strings. Multifeel is the most popular out of these and it offers excellent comfort and performance, as well as being durable.
The Premium range incorporates Tecnifibre’s unique multifilament technology and there are three types of string available; X-One Biphase, NRG and TGV. Biphase is a technology that allows the durability of strings to be increased without the need for increasing the string diameter. This means that you can get all the playability and comfort of a 1.18mm and 1.24mm gauge string, with added durability. X-One Biphase is Tecnifibres top of the range tennis string.
The Playability range features an excellent value for money Synthetic Gut, which gives a great balance of playablity and durability.
